SWEATER WEATHER

Hi lovelies!

The weather has changed dramatically from summer to fall over here on my side of the globe and so, it’s time for cozy sweaters and comfy leggings once again!

I’m a huge aztec print fan and I fell in love with this adorable Black Aztec Distressed Back Sweater from a company called The Classic Brand. This brand carries a fun and unique collection of apparel from modern to feminine to edgy. The distressed sweater was one out of many items that caught my eye. It features a basic crew neck with a black and gray knitted construction that has a white aztec print on the front and a distressed back.

I paired the distressed sweater with my beloved Organic Cuffed Leggings from LVR Fashion. These leggings have been my go-to for the last few weeks! They’re made with organic cotton and have an elasticized waistband for a comfortable support, and are indeed, extremely soft and comfy!

My heels are the Immortal 45 by Qupid Shoes.

Lorac Mega Pro Palette Review & Swatches + Makeup Look

Hello loves!

Today, I will be reviewing the much anticipated limited edition Mega Pro Palette from Lorac Cosmetics. I saw preview photos of this palette a few months back via Instagram and had been anxiously waiting for its release. This palette came out about two weeks ago and was sold out almost instantly on the Lorac website. Now, I usually don’t give in to the hype surrounding a new product release, but when I saw sneak peek photos of this eyeshadow palette, I knew I had to get it and I stalked the Lorac website on its release date to purchase one.

The Mega Pro Palette (limited edition, $59.00) is double the size of the original Pro Palette and contains 32 colors with 28 brand new exclusive shades and 4 original shades (Cream, White, Espresso, and Black). There are 4 rows in the palette with each row containing 8 colors; the top two rows in the palette are matte shades and the bottom two rows consist of all shimmers shades.

The new Mega Pro Palette has the same smooth, rubbery casing and magnetic closure as the Pro Palette, and comes with a full-sized mirror on the inside. The eyeshadows in the Mega Pro Palette are soft, buttery, and beautifully pigmented. There is a lovely variety of neutrals in this palette with a mixture of a few rosy/lavender and dark shades.

Some might find the shades in the palette to be redundant, but honestly, to me, you can’t go wrong with neutrals. This palette has endless possibilities and is so versatile—-I have absolutely no complaints about it whatsoever! I love the array of colors and finishes in this palette, and find the price to be absolutely unbeatable for such a well-formulated and highly pigmented palette!

Here are my swatches of the Mega Pro Palette, done without using a primer.

For my makeup look, I used all eyeshadows from the Mega Pro Palette.

Colors used, in order of application:

- Orchid : inner lid
- Mulberry : middle and outer lid
- Apricot : upper crease and bottom inner lash line
- Gray : outer lash line
- Opal : tear duct highlight

I hope you all liked this review and enjoyed the makeup look, and thanks for reading! :)
