New Circle Lenses & False Eyelashes from AngelContacts.Com
I was recently sent some goodies from AngelContacts.Com that I’m very excited to share with you all!
I often get asked about the type of contact lenses that I wear in my photos. I wear circle lenses, which are cosmetic contact lenses that enhances your eye’s color and enlarges the eye’s iris to create a more doll-like appearance. Circle lenses are extremely popular in Asian countries like Japan and Korea where these lenses are largely produced. Circle lenses come in a variety of colors and styles, with or without prescription, and with various diameter sizes that gives the illusion of wider and larger eyes—-the bigger the diameter, the bigger the lenses. This makes circle lenses differ from conventional contact lenses.
Popularized in Asia and now with an increasing popularity in other countries, circle lenses can be found on almost every beauty guru and blogger. I am guilty of being a circle lenses lover.
As with all contact lenses, always consult with your optometrist before wear and always do your research! Be aware of counterfeits, which is common with circle lenses due to their popularity and never buy from websites that advertises to sell them for “cheap”.
Now, with all of that information and disclaimer out of the way, let’s get to the fun stuff! The lovely team at AngelContacts.Com sent me a pair of circle lenses of my choice with a few pairs of their new eyelashes for review.
When I came across AngelContacts.Com, I was immediately captivated by their super adorable and easy to navigate website. I was just as delighted with the company’s presentation when their beautifully packaged products arrived.
The pair of circle lenses I decided on were the Tri-Tone Blue lenses from the brand GEO Medical, which is a brand that Angel Contacts primarily carries on their website.
GEO Medical is a Korean contact lenses company that is approved by the FDA for sale in the United States. Their circle lenses are highly popular and sought after, renowned for their comfort and modern design. Every pair of GEO’s lenses come with ‘authenticity check’ codes on the bottles—-you enter the provided anti-fake numbers from the bottles on to the company’s official website to determine whether the circle lenses are authentic or not. I tried out the anti-fake system and the lenses I received are indeed genuine GEO products.
The GEO Tri-Tone Blue circle lenses have a mixture of three colors, featuring a central turquoise color with a light splash of gold on the interior and a dark blue outer-lining. These circle lenses have a 14.2mm diameter (slightly larger than the standard size of 14mm), which makes these lenses very natural looking with a modest enlargement to the eyes.
I love that these circle lenses are so vibrant and opaque, veiling my dark brown eyes to allow the turquoise hue to show through. These Tri-Tone Blue lenses are also very comfortable and they look amazing in photos. I got the circle lenses without prescription in “Plano” (0.00).
Aside from circle lenses, Angel Contacts also has a fabulous high quality, synthetic false eyelash line—-how exciting! I was thrilled when I saw these eyelashes, instantly captivated by the beautiful pink striped packaging since I’m a total sucker for anything pink and cute!
I received two pairs of eyelashes out of the five pairs currently available in the collection.
The Sweet Glam false eyelashes are the most dramatic in the collection, featuring a full band of dark and dense lashes with a cross pattern and flared outer corners. These lashes are so voluminous and stunning, and they amazingly resemble mink eyelashes!
The Angel Luxe lashes are made with short and medium length lashes that form a natural cross pattern for a feathery and feminine look.
I wore the GEO Tri-Tone Blue circle lenses with Angel Contacts’ Sweet Glam false eyelashes. I paired these lashes with a smokey eye and they’re the perfect combo! These lashes are very lightweight and comfortable, and they made me feel so glamorous!
